Our John Michael Exquisite Weddings and Catering team had the most incredible time working with Farrah and Darren on their recent wedding at the Tavares Pavilion on The Lake.

This fun loving couple selected our Diamond Package for their wedding cerebration for fifty-five guests.

After all of the preparations were in place, Farrah and Darren had a ‘First Touch” rather than seeing each other. Standing on either side of a door they were able to hold hands and share a few words.

Their beautiful wedding ceremony made it clear how much in love they are, and how much they love to laugh. Their wedding ceremony included a fun unique Unity Ceremony where they created a personalized piece of art.

Following the wedding ceremony guests enjoyed some butler passed hors d’oeuvres including:

Our Signature Homemade Meatballs

with Marinara, Pomerey Mustard and Bourbon Sauces

Fiery Mac and Cheese Bites

A pastry shell filled with spicy mac and cheese and topped with seasoned panko bread crumbs

Chicken and Waffles

Delicious Belgium waffle topped with fried chicken,

country gravy and drizzled with maple syrup

As wedding guests took their seats, the couple opened the wedding reception with an incredible first dance.

Guest tables were draped with rich Navy blue linen with gold charger plates and clean crisp white napkins and a unique assortment of vintage Florida post cards.

The couple’s sweetheart table was draped in white linen with Navy blue napkins and mercury glass napkins.  It was also adorned with white centerpieces that included touches of blue delphinium.

Farrah and Darren selected a plated dinner reception which began with a Garden Salad with Balsamic and Ranch Dressings followed by three, preselected, entrée options.

Filet Mignon with Garlic Butter

The entrée selections were designated with three color coded place cards, white for chicken, black for shrimp and blue for filet mignon.

The entrees were served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Zucchini and baskets of our Rosemary Garlic, Honey Wheat and Plain Sea Salt Yeast Rolls with Butter Rosettes.

The three children enjoyed a dinner of Chicken Tenders, Mac and Cheese and Fresh Fruit. Farrah and Darren had also prearranged for special meals for their vegan guests. Those two guests dined on Vegan Tempeh with Roasted Vegetable Ratatouille.

The wedding reception wrapped up with this beautiful three-tiered white butter cream wedding cake with white roses. The delicious cake included layers of strawberry champagne, chocolate and vanilla.
